The Fairmont State University Department of Humanities and the Masquers student theatre organization will present Us and Them on Tuesday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Wallman Hall Theatre on campus, with free admission for both showings.

Kestrel: A Journal of Literature and Art and the Fairmont State University Department of Humanities are pleased to announce the publication of Kestrel 46, the Winter 2021 - 2022 issue.

Fairmont State University is preparing to host its third visiting scholar from the People's Republic of China, according to Dr. Angela Schwer, chair of the Department of Humanities. Zhang Peng will arrive on September 7 to begin a year-long residency.
