 The results from the 2022 audit were highlighted by the University’s independent auditing firm, Suttle and Stalnaker, during Thursday’s Board of Governors meeting. The findings presented demonstrated the University concluded its fiscal year in strong financial standing for the fifth consecutive year. 

Fairmont State Exercise Science graduate student receives $40,000 scholarship

Fall 2022 marked the beginning of Fairmont State University Exercise Science graduate, Taylor Kennedy’s, tenure in her master’s program at Fairmont State.

Earlier this summer, Kennedy was selected as a recipient of the Hazel Ruby McQuain Graduate Scholarship to continue her studies at Fairmont State in the Master of Education in Exercise Science program.

Fairmont State graduate studies admission requirements eased

Fairmont State University is continuing to take steps to temporarily adjust admission requirements to alleviate stress for graduate students dealing with the impact of COVID-19. 

The University is lifting the requirement for most standardized entrance exams for the graduate degree program entrance for the fall 2020 semester. Tests include the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Miller Analogies Test (MAT), and Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
