Fairmont State University’s Performing and Community Arts program has announced its fall 2022 performance schedule. In addition to the five large-scale performances, children and adults can join in and explore the performing and visual arts this fall through various community opportunities.
FAIRMONT, W.Va. Thursday, June 30 – Fairmont State University’s Academy for the Arts has received a $10,000 grant from the Truist West Virginia Foundation to provide need-based scholarships to be applied to student tuition for camps, classes and private lessons throughout the summer and 2022 – 23 academic year.
Fairmont State University’s Academy for the Arts has announced a robust lineup of summer camps for the 2022 season. The Academy for the Arts summer camps offer students opportunities to explore and build skills in the performing arts. Serving grades K-12, camps are offered in various subjects at convenient times to meet the needs of parents and children.
The Fairmont State University Community Arts will present the 2022 Song of Hope on Friday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in-person in the Wallman Hall Theatre, with all proceeds benefitting the Tygart Valley United Way.
