The Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center at Fairmont State University presented two awards at the Midwinter Gathering for the Friends of the Folklife Center on Friday, Feb. 24.

The Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center at Fairmont State University was awarded an Organizational Medallion for Excellence in Support of the Arts during the Governor’s Arts Awards Gala at the Culture Center on Thursday, March 10.

The Frank and Jane Gabor West Virginia Folklife Center will host a special event on Friday, Nov. 6, saluting traditional country and bluegrass music and a renowned scholar.
