Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College will host the Women of Color Luncheon: A Celebration of Diversity and Achievement on Tuesday, March 31.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Jotwyla R. Moore. A native of Fairmont, Moore is an author, teacher and speaker, who loves to empower women. As the wife of Kirk M. Moore, she serves as the Assistant Pastor of Restoring Life Ministries Incorporated of Morgantown.

The annual Women of Color Luncheon, a celebration of diversity and achievement, will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Colebank Hall on the shared main campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College.

The annual Women of Color Luncheon, a celebration of diversity and achievement, is planned for noon Tuesday, April 24, in the Falcon Center third floor conference rooms. The event, sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs, which serves Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College, is intended to honor those who have shown a commitment for treating people equally and for celebrating diversity. This year’s event will be organized by Dr. Tara Brooks, Director of Multicultural Affairs.
